NBA 21 presents new features of MyCAREER mode for PS5 and Xbox Series

NBA 21 is one of the titles that will accompany the new generation of consoles from day 1, and continues to reveal news about the next-gen versions of this acclaimed basketball simulator, after having revealed The City a couple of days ago. 

In this case, the game developer has announced that NBA 21 on PS5 and Xbox Series will have a broader My Career mode, with a deeper story and new possibilities to experience your journey from college basketball to the best league in the world in a unique way. 

The current-gen version of NBA 21 features the plot of The Long Shadow, which tells the story of Junior, the son of a popular basketball player who faces the challenge of reaching the NBA and fulfilling the expectations of his legacy, as he works his path through high school and college. 

Now, the next-gen version of NBA 21 gives unprecedented control over how to get to the League with more options than ever before. 

The main variant is the introduction of the G League, the NBA's minor league, a tournament that saw the growth of great players such as Alex Caruso, current NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers. This league is in charge of polishing the skills of young players so that they can reach the NBA showing their maximum potential. 

Also, players will have the chance to select how they want to reach the NBA, whether to jump straight out of high schools like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant did, or to have a full college career like Draymond Green and many other players. 

The game developer presents MyNBA, a new franchise mode for NBA 21. 

Despite MyTEAMis the most popular mode in the series and many players decide to buy NBA 21 MT Coins to quickly upgrade their team, the game publisher continues to enhance the experience of the other game modes. 

In this case, the developers have introduced MyNBA, a revamped Franchise Mode that will allow users to create their franchise and manage it not only at the GM level but also as a commissioner, offering control over the team never before seen in the series. 

As if that were not enough, in this mode you can also create leagues of 12 to 36 teams and develop players in the G League who will later become the great stars of the league, in a much broader and more complete experience that will generate a much higher immersion feeling in players. 

This new franchise mode will include more than interesting features such as the Fantasy Draft, an option that causes that the season will start with a draft that includes all the players of the league, so the teams have to choose players round by round and completely reform their rosters. 

Finally, this mode will also have options to modify the salary cap, create a custom league, change the rules of the matches, and much more. 

These expansions join the most recent presentation of My City, a section that was introduced to replace My Neighborhood, and that will add a vast open-world in which hundreds of players can share simultaneously thanks to the game's online functions.
